OLAT 7.4

This release is focused on improving the quality and consistency of notifications throughout OLAT. We have made improvements to the GUI to make the use and management of notifications simple and appealing and have made several enhancements to the actual contents of the notifications (e.g., improved links and structuring of information within emails). In addition we have extended notifications to Blog and Podcast course elements.

In the process we have made notifications even more robust and reliable. For example, should OLAT be restarted whilst notifications are being sent, then the pending notifications will be sent as soon as OLAT is back online! We have also addressed a number of performance and scalability concerns ensuring a high standard of service delivery for large institutions. Finally we now employ high quality standardized components throughout replacing the existing OLAT developed elements.
