How do we manage a complex environment with tens of thousands of users and major new projects every year?
OLAT has adopted the DSDM agile project management framework together with traditional portfolio and risk management methodologies to capture and deliver new requirements. We sit with lecturers and students to understand their needs and together we design new processes and services to support them. We use industry "Best Practice" techniques such as Business Process Management (BPM) and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) within the context of a sound architectural development framework (TOGAF) to deliver the best possible solutions for our users.
But we don't stop there! To ensure optimal service delivery we have adapted IT Service Management (ITILv3) processes to our operational environment ensuring that every aspect of production environment is continually monitored and improved. We remain deeply committed to the high quality of service that we deliver to all our users on a daily basis.
